This program encourages all of its participants to build social skills, develop long-lasting
relationships, enhance self-esteem, and gain a sense of participation in their community.
The program participates in a great variety of events and activities in the immediate
area as well as the Tri-State Region. Participants come to the program through their
case manager's referral from the Delaware County Office of Mental Retardation.
We serve adults 21+ with developmental delays that live either independently
or with parents or guardians in the Delaware County area. The Adult Socialization
Program is for persons who are living in a CLA or any other type of residential program
if they participate in the waiver and/or self-determination program.
Monday, Thursday, every other Wednesday evening, and various weekend days/evenings
The group meets at our headquarters in Havertown, PA.
