Celebrating Diversity, Belonging, and Compassion This Fall

The sizzling summer days will soon be behind us, and the crisp air and colorful rustling leaves of autumn will take their place. With this change of season comes a time of reflection, celebration, and learning as we honor the many special days approaching in the months ahead.

Hispanic Heritage Month: Honoring Culture & Contributions

We begin September with Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to recognize the rich histories, diverse traditions, and countless contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Their stories and legacies continue to shape and strengthen our nation, reminding us of the beauty found in cultural diversity.

National Global Diversity Month: Embracing Inclusion

As we move into October, we expand our lens to honor National Global Diversity Month, embracing the beauty of inclusion and recognizing the value of all cultures across the globe.

National Bullying Prevention Month: Building Safer Spaces

October also carries an important reminder: the urgent need to protect our children and help them grow into positive role models for others. It is during National Bullying Prevention Month that we come together to shed light on the impact of bullying and take steps to create safer, more compassionate spaces for youth.

In support of this effort, Child Guidance Resource Centers is proud to present: “Breaking the Bully Cycle” on October 29th, from 6 – 8 PM, at The Kelly Center, 4 E. Eagle Rd. Havertown, PA,

This powerful event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Claudio Cerullo, Professor of Psychology and National Anti-Bullying & Active Shooter Prevention Expert. His expertise and dedication to ending cycles of bullying have earned him national recognition, and his message continues to inspire change. The evening will also include a panel discussion with community leaders and a special performance, ensuring a dynamic and meaningful experience for all who attend.

Moving Forward Together

As the seasons shift, let us carry forward a renewed commitment: to celebrate cultural richness, embrace diversity, and stand united against bullying.

At CGRC, we call this being a Champion of Hope — someone who chooses to uplift children, support families, and strengthen communities. By attending events, sharing our message, or making a gift, you join a movement dedicated to building a safer, more inclusive, and compassionate future for all.

Be a Champion of Hope today. Stand with us, support our DEI&B programs, and help end the bully cycle.
