Caroline Griffin, Director of Rural and Civic Engagement, PA Human Relations Commission 

Caroline Griffin serves as Director of Rural and Civic Engagement at the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, where she leads efforts to address discrimination in rural communities, strengthen rural–urban connections, and advance equity statewide. Previously, she served as Director of Fair Housing and Commercial Property. Griffin began her public service career with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, holding leadership roles across mental health, developmental programs, and equal opportunity initiatives. With decades of experience supporting people with disabilities and older adults, she has developed impactful training in disability rights, abuse prevention, investigations, and crisis intervention—driven by a lifelong commitment to social justice and inclusive communities.
