The Next Chapter: Preparing Autistic Youth and Families for Adult Life

Presenter: Stacey Ollivier, BCBA

As youth with Autism approach adulthood, families and providers often face a mix of hope, uncertainty, and pressing questions. This engaging and practical training is designed to equip clinicians, educators, and service providers with the tools they need to support a smooth, empowering transition for both youth and their families. The session explores key challenges and opportunities in the transition process, offering evidence-based strategies to promote independence, self-advocacy, and life skills. Participants will gain practical tools to help families navigate access to education, employment, and housing while also fostering emotional well-being and strong family dynamics during this critical life stage.
