CREATE

CREATE is a year round, innovative group outpatient service for children and young adults with autism. Participants build social and communication skills, improve problem solving and emotional regulation, and enhance flexibility and motivation.

CREATE, participants make and maintain friendships, enhance communication skills, develop emotional flexibility and regulation, and work with your family in order to maintain progress and growth.

CREATE uses concepts from evidence-based interactive therapies including ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), PRT (Pivotal Response Therapy), Hidden Curriculum, QuestTM, Social ThinkingTM, social stories, and behavior mapping. Family therapy and parent workshops are also a regular component of CREATE.

Who can attend CREATE?

3-21 year olds diagnosed with autism. Caregivers will also participate in regular family therapy to support their child’s development.

Where is CREATE offered?

CREATE is held in Philadelphia and Delaware County. Our Havertown office is conveniently located just off of the Blue Route and in Philadelphia we are located close to the intersection of Island and Lindbergh Avenues, near the airport. Our spaces are have the therapeutic resources and tools our participants need, and both locations offer indoor and outdoor space.

  • 3-5 year olds participate on Tuesday-Thursday from 4pm-7:00pm (only offered in our Havertown location)

  • 6-9 year olds participate on Tuesday and Thursday 4pm-7:00pm

  • 10-21 year olds participate on Monday and Wednesday 4pm-7:00pm.

Empowering Growth, Creativity, and Connection

Through creative expression, emotional regulation, and skill-building, CREATE helps autistic children develop social skills, motivation, and confidence in a supportive and engaging environment.
