Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based treatment for children with autism and other developmental delays that uses a systemic approach to help your child learn and grow. ABA principles can be applied to help children increase communication, improve social skills, increase adaptive skills such as dressing, feeding, and reducing unwanted behaviors like aggression or tantrums.

Blended Case Management (BCM)
BCM assists children and families with mental health needs to achieve success through their treatment journey. Families are empowered with education, support to access resources, and guidance in making informed choices. Case Management works to maximize an individual and family’s ability to live independently and productively in the community.

Family First
When your child is struggling, a whole-family approach can make all the difference. In Family First, you are assigned a team of two Master’s level clinicians who work closely with you in the home, school and community to address not only your child’s emotional struggles but the larger systemic issues contributing to your concerns.

Functional Family Therapy
FFT is an evidence-based short-term program for youth 11-18 years old. This intensive program averages 12 to 14 sessions over three to five months. Therapists provide services that are conducted in the home, school, and community in order to provide the most effective and beneficial support for long-term change.

Guiding Good Choices
GGC is an evidence based 5-session virtual program for parents with children ages 9-14. The program is a multimedia family-competency training program specifically designed to strengthen parents' family management skills, parent-child bonding, and children's peer-resistance skills.

Incredible Years
The Incredible Years is an evidence based program that supports young children’s development through engaging, dinosaur-themed materials and life-size puppets. The program helps enhance social, emotional, and academic skills. The program also supports parents, providing tools and skills to take through childhood.

IBHS
IBHS is a “wraparound” community-based service that occurs across the home, school, and/or community settings. We work with you to address behavioral health needs using strength-based goals. We teach the child and caregivers skills a positive and age-appropriate manner.

Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST)
MST is an evidence based intervention for adolescents ages 12-17 who struggle with chronic, delinquent behavior and/or severe emotional issues. This program addresses behaviors and helps the client and family move in a positive direction. By empowering the caregiver to build supports & set expectations, we help the entire family achieve positive growth & change.

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
PCIT is an evidence based program for children ages 2-7 years that enhances parent-child connection and leads with positive praise and play. Over 15-20 weekly sessions, a clinician coaches caregivers in real time—either behind a two-way mirror or over Zoom—guiding them through play-based interactions and effective responses to challenging behaviors.

Psychiatry Services & Medication Management
Licensed psychiatrists experienced and trained in working with children, adolescents, and families work with you regarding diagnosis, treatment planning and medication management. We do not offer medication management alone because we strongly believe that therapy is central to a child’s development, and medication, when needed, is the support to that work and growth. Licensed, school-certified psychologists are available for diagnostic evaluation, therapy, and treatment planning.

Next Steps Center
Next Steps specializes in comprehensive assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. These evaluations help diagnose conditions like ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, anxiety, and other neurodevelopmental or psychological concerns. The results provide valuable insights to guide personalized treatment plans, educational accommodations, and therapeutic interventions, supporting individuals in achieving their full potential.

High Fidelity Wraparound
Child Guidance is the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) provider for youth enrolled in Delaware County'. All youth & families are able to receive their HFW services and behavioral health treatment within the continuum of care at Child Guidance. HFW is a youth-guided and family-driven process that helps families meet basic needs, strengthen support networks, and empower participants to change their future.
