United for Safety: A Gun Violence Prevention Initiative

United for Safety is a community-centered initiative dedicated to raising awareness, promoting education, and fostering action to prevent gun violence—especially as it affects children and families. Hosted by Child Guidance Resource Centers, this program brings together youth, caregivers, educators, and community leaders to create safe, supportive environments where every child can thrive.

Through interactive workshops, resource sharing, and engaging activities, United for Safety empowers families with practical tools for violence prevention, emotional wellness, and community connection. This event is part of our ongoing commitment to mental health advocacy, trauma-informed care, and reducing barriers to safety and well-being in our neighborhoods.
