Truancy and Delinquency Partnership

Our Truancy and Delinquency Partnership is designed to support youth who are struggling with school attendance or facing involvement with the juvenile justice system. Through early intervention, family engagement, and individualized support, we help students overcome barriers, improve attendance, and develop positive habits that lead to long-term success.

Truancy As a Sign of Stress
Regular attendance in school is an important factor in your child's achievement and success. Missing just two days of school each month increases the likelihood of dropping out. We know, however, that truancy is often a symptom of stress and need in that student's life. Our Truancy and Delinquency Prevention Partnership identifies the issue and helps families develop the tools and resources for their students to return to school and reach their potential.
How does the program work?
We know your family is unique and our Truancy Prevention program takes that into consideration with everything we do. There's no one answer. That's why each family’s treatment program is specifically designed by a clinician to meet your specific needs.
When your family enters the program, you will begin working with a Truancy Clinician. If needed, they will act as your advocate for appropriate educational services and in the justice system. Our clinicians are champions at identifying areas in need of support, connecting with resources, and advocating for your family.
The program hours vary depending on your need and availability. Therapy occurs in many places, ranging from your home, school, and the community. We will work with you to help your family build support systems and reach your potential for independent success.
