Strengthening Families, Delaware County (Ages 10-14)

Navigating life with preteens and teens isn’t easy—but you don’t have to do it by yourself. Starting January 8th, the ATOD Prevention Program at Child Guidance Resource Centers is having the Strengthening Families 10–14 Program, built to empower and support families every step of the way.

This isn’t just another parenting course. It’s a hands-on, engaging 7 session program that gives you practical strategies to communicate more effectively, set clear expectations, and help your kids stay on a healthy, substance-free path.

Girls Spark

This one-hour workshop will equip parents and caregivers with trauma-informed communication strategies to foster safe, supportive, and trusting relationships with the 11–18-year-old girls in their lives. Understanding how trauma, whether big or small, impacts adolescent girls' emotions and behaviors is key to effective communication. Parents and caregivers will learn how to recognize trauma responses, respond with empathy, and create a home environment that promotes healing, connection, and resilience. The workshop will provide a safe space for discussion and include interactive activities and practical strategies.
